Welcome to
Story Behind the Scene
As a small business owner, I’ve encountered numerous challenges in delivering orders on time due to inadequate tracking systems in place.
I handle every aspect of my business on my own, from promoting my products to managing inventory. This includes processing orders, confirming them with customers, and ensuring timely delivery. Occasionally, we fail to confirm orders due to cancellations, which complicates the process. I have to log into various retailer websites to provide manual confirmations, and sometimes I receive orders late at night, making it impossible to confirm them right away. All these tasks are done manually, which can lead to mistakes, such as sending incorrect confirmations when inventory is low. Unfortunately, there are no alerts for inventory levels, and this inefficiency is causing me to lose business.
When partnering with major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, we often face chargebacks due to incorrect order confirmations or delayed product deliveries. This presents yet another challenge that can significantly impact our profit margins.
Idea behind the Solution
I embraced this challenge and developed a solution to tackle the issue. By automating many processes on a budget-friendly scale, we aimed to support small businesses like mine. The result is an Open Source EDI Integration solution that offers extensive customization options.
I created and successfully implemented a solution for our initial problem, and now I can operate this business smoothly. I’m currently enjoying profits and receiving praise for my timely deliveries and confirmations.
This experience has been a valuable lesson for me, leading me to pivot into a new venture focused on offering EDI integration solutions to small business owners encountering similar challenges. I’ve been able to assist several clients by leveraging my expertise.
I never relied solely on a single solution for every problem, but I have noticed a subtle shift in my approach to problem-solving. We offer solutions for various integration challenges within the constraints of our customers’ applications, software, and programming languages, collaborating with some of the most skilled developers in the industry.
New way of Implementing EDI B2B Integration
Using open source tools that are readily available on the market, we developed a new EDI B2B solution because many small customers cannot afford to implement EDI / B2B solutions provided by larger companies because of costs associated with product license, license renewals, skilled labor, various additional services, etc.
We considered the concerns of small customers when developing our solutions, and as a result, we developed a solution that every small client with a single PC or system and an Internet connection can use and administer.
Any small customer can increase their business if they apply this solution. They can mostly transact with larger online retailers like Amazon, eBay, and so on. We enable the little client to handle and be EDI proficient.
